  • Wow! How can those guys sleep at night? It's amazing what people will do for money.

Thanks for letting us know. This is definitely something that people need to know about.

Description:

A review by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) of 1,446 fatal accidents from 2001 and 2006, 255 instances – almost 18 percent – had missing airbags that had not been repaired following a previous wreck.

Some of these cases might just be poor repairs. In many cases, the airbags were never repaired. Instead the compartment often is stuffed with refuse. Fake airbag covers and switches that make it appear as though the airbags are functioning are readily available on the Internet.
