You’ve probably seen our pushes by now promoting Motor Age’s fifth annual Top Shops Contest. But that’s because we don’t have your shop’s entry yet.
Each year Motor Age sets out to find the best shops around the country. We run our Top Shops Contest to showcase those businesses who are doing it right. Think about how many times you’ve seen some TV news report about a shop scamming unsuspecting clients. Why not give your TV station, newspaper or local publication of some sort a reason to talk about you.
Last year’s winner, Vernie and Barb Menke and their shop Menke’s Automotive Repair in Newburgh, Ind., did just that. They had TV stations, newspapers and national publications – not just Motor Age – profiling their shop after taking home the 2009 honor. Think about what that can do for business?
Sure, we give you the plaque to hang on the wall, the stories, the coverage, the starting point to really stake your claim as a Top Shop, but there is so much more it can bring you.
But you have to enter first. Please visit http://www.motorage.com/topshops to look at the rules and what you’ll need to send in for consideration. There is some information that you’ll have to gather, but the rewards in the end are great if you can get your shop to come out on top.
I’ll keep my eye out on the mail for your shop’s entry.
