Hi! I'm Tschanen (that's pronounced Shannon) and I'm managing editor of Motor Age. I've been with the Advanstar Automotive Group since December 2006, having started on Aftermarket Business. Before jumping into the automotive aftermarket world, I was a copy editor at The Morning Journal in Lorain, Ohio, and spent four years as city editor at The Daily Chief-Union in Upper Sandusky, Ohio. I earned my bachelor's degree in journalism from Ohio University, where I wrote for the daily newspaper The Post.
I've thoroughly enjoyed my time in the automotive group learning all I can about the aftermarket and automotive industry. I'm always open to learning more, though! But there's lots of other stuff I'm interested in, including my passion for Cleveland Indians baseball, trying to get better at poker, dance classes and tackling the challenges of a new home.
